They all have either decks or patios with great Mountain views.
This inn was constructed with the Guest rooms in 2 octagonal shaped building units, which together with the main lodge are located on 6+ acres with lots of lush landscaping. (Plenty of room to expand with additional guest cottages.)
The main lodge houses the breakfast area/gathering room on the first floor which has a very peaceful view of the woods to the rear of the building. Here we also find the kitchen, space for a gift shop, the innkeeper’s office/reception area, and 2 apartments used by the owners. Plus there is lots of storage and the laundry area. One of the owner’s apartments is on the second floor and overlooks the dining area and is complete with a full kitchen, living room with a fireplace, large bed room, and full bath complete with whirlpool. (No makeshift room off the kitchen here).
The inn is situated close to both Cashiers, and Highlands, 40 miles from Asheville, and about three hours from Atlanta.
The inn and the area allow for many activities. At the Inn there is a picnic area with grills.
Hiking or horseback riding nearby on trails that will bring you closer to nature in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Golf is also nearby and there are many lakes, streams and rivers for fishing nearby, as well as swimming, boating, tubing, kayaking or canoeing. Whitewater Falls, Gem Mine and Panther Valley (falls & hiking) are nearby.
